A 26-year-old Harvey woman is among eight people arrested and charged with operating a credit card fraud ring in suburban Crestwood, the Illinois State Police said Tuesday.
Letitia Georgia, of the 100 block of 147th Street, is joined by codefendants from Chicago, Alsip and Calumet Park and accused of stealing credit card numbers while working for various retail businesses in the Chicago area. The charges come after a two month investigation that began after members of the Illinois State Police Federal Credit Union and the Chicago Patrolmen's Credit Union learned of fraudulent purchases being made from their accounts, state police said. The fraudulent transactions affected 140 accounts and totaled more than $150,000.
Those arrested and charged include:

Kiyona P. Jackson, 21, of the 7900 block of South Escanaba in Chicago.
