GARY | A man was shot during a home invasion in Gary early Saturday morning.

He was shot as several people robbed and ransacked his home in the 4300 block of Jefferson Street, Detective Cpl. Ed Gonzalez said. The shooting victim survived, police said.

Other people were home at the time of the invasion but were not injured.
