Noll performs 'Diary of Anne Frank'

HAMMOND | The Bishop Noll Institute Theatre Department will perform "The Diary of Anne Frank" as its spring theatrical production.

It's directed by veteran Noll teacher Elizabeth Conley, theater department chairman.

"The Diary of Anne Frank" is based on experiences and thoughts of a young Jewish girl during World War II who is in hiding from the Nazis with her family.

Performances are at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and March 14 and 15 and at 5 p.m. March 16.

Tickets, which will be sold at the door, cost $6 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Children will be admitted free.

The cast is as follows: Anne Frank, portrayed by Eileen O'Connor; Otto Frank, played by Ben Gregory; Edith Frank, portrayed by Mary Pasyk; Margot Frank, played by Elena Kruse; Peter Van Daan, portrayed by Ferdinand Alvarez; Petronella Daan, portrayed by Nicole Weig; Peter Wessel, played by Tom Clements; Albert Drussel, played by Darrel McGowan; Mr. Kraler, played by Mike Kosakowski; and Miep Gies, portrayed by Rachel Nowacki.
