Words from Winfield
Great news for the Winfield/LOFS Pop Warner cheerleaders. After winning a regional championship they headed to sunny Orlando, Fla. and placed fourth at the nationals, returning home from the competition with a three-foot tall trophy. The competition took place Dec. 8 at the Milk House at Disney World's Wide World of Sports Complex.

Winter event a huge success
The Doubletree Winter Event, sponsored by the subdivision's Special Events Committee, was a huge success.
Held last Saturday at the Doubletree Club House, which is decorated for the season, approximately 50 Doubletree parents, children and other residents enjoyed a visit with Santa Claus. Cookies, coffee and juice were served and a professional photographer was also on hand to take festive holiday pictures.
The craft table turned out to be a very popular place for all ages, with parents and grandparents helping the kids make Santa, reindeer, and greeting card projects using glitter paper and glitter pens.
Special thanks go out to Committee Leader Deborah Arges and Terry Pingel. Residents of Doubletree can look forward to more special events in the upcoming year.
