East Chicago man sentenced in crack cocaine case

Ryan Harmon, 27, of East Chicago, has been sentenced in Hammond federal court to 151 months in prison and four years probation for distributing a crack cocaine in March 2007.

Court records state that Harmon had three prior felony drug convictions for delivering and possessing a controlled substance.

The recent case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Lake County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force and the East Chicago Police Department.
