LOWELL | Tri-Creek School Corp. officials are inviting people living in Cedar Creek or Eagle Creek townships to apply for an at-large position on the School Board.

Since there already are two members of the board from West Creek Township, no applicants from West Creek are permitted.

Board member Jeremy Hayden is vacating his position July 1, so the four-year term for the successful applicant will begin then.

Those interested may pick up an application packet at the Tri-Creek administration center, 195 W. Oakley Ave., Lowell. Those wishing to be considered must return their completed applications to Sally Sciackitano at the administrative center no later than 3 p.m. May 9. The new member is expected to be appointed in June.
