Crean era begins with 32-point exhibition win over Ravens

BLOOMINGTON | Junior guard Devan Dumes scored 22 points and freshman forward Tom Pritchard added 20 points and a team high 10 rebounds as Indiana beat Anderson 103-71 in its first preseason exhibition game under new coach Tom Crean.

Dumes scored 10 of the first 20 points in the game, his 3-pointer giving the Hoosiers an 18-2 lead 4:45 into the game. Indiana led the Division III Ravens 54-29 at halftime.

Verdall Jones added 18 points for Indiana.

Rodney Holiday came off the bench to lead Anderson with 17 points and Andrew Jones added 13.

Indiana scored 35 points off 21 Anderson turnovers in shooting 56 percent (33-of-59) from the field for the game while holding the Ravens to 37 percent (25-of-68).
