We are pleased to announce that Purdue University Northwest’s updated Power Onward Brand Guidelines are now available to faculty and staff at pnw.edu/brand.
PNW’s Power Onward brand has proven to be successful, gaining momentum on our campuses and in the communities we serve. We are now capturing that energy through a singular, cohesive identity and one unified set of brand guidelines accessible across the institution. The exciting milestones of celebrating 10 years of PNW, and welcoming the shift in our university’s nickname to become the Lions, simply add to our many reasons to embrace a collective narrative and work together toward building an even greater representation for PNW.
Thank you for your patience as we worked diligently over the past several months to develop these new documents and logo files. In addition to the brand guidelines, you will find a selection of downloadable Institutional Logos, Tools and Templates, and other resources intended to serve as a valuable reference as we continue to strengthen our shared identity. We recommend you bookmark the sites linked above for reference and check back to see how we have expanded these tools, templates and files in the coming months. Please begin implementing changes to your branded materials as soon as possible. To get started, attached is the official email signature for all faculty and staff, including directions on how to update your email signature.
As a reminder, all campus units are required to use a licensed vendor to produce any merchandise with the Purdue Northwest trademarks and logos. This helps ensure you are getting quality goods that will positively reflect the PNW name. The PNW Office of Marketing and Communications is the administrative unit tasked with the management and protection of the PNW brand. We are happy to work with you to ensure compliance with the university’s brand governance and licensing and trademark requirements.
If you have any questions about these new guidelines, tools and logos, please reach out to the Marketing and Communications team at marketing@pnw.edu or submit a project request form.
